Greg Brummett has been creating unique quality photographs and jewelry for over 30 years. He is a multi award winning photographer. His work has been displayed in various shows throughout southern Illinois and mid-Missouri. An original award winning painting still hangs in the halls of the community college he attended in the early 80s.
The techniques used and designs created are personalized and one of a kind. Special attention is given to each piece to take advantage of the unique characteristics of the stone or photo.
What’s in a name? The name Buena Vista was Greg’s paternal grandfather’s name. While an unusual name, he went by Buenie. The Spanish translation is “good view” which represents the eye that Greg uses in producing his photos and jewelry. As fate would have it, Buena Vista Jewelry is located in beautiful downtown Grafton, Illinois with a great view of the Mississippi River. The name just fits perfectly.
Greg and his wife Janey opened Buena Vista Jewelry in downtown Grafton, Illinois along the Mississippi River in March 2010. This quaint town is nestled between limestone bluffs where the Illinois, Missouri and Mississippi rivers all come together.
